Innovative Steele Mixer Aims To Help Pool Contractors Mix Concrete Faster
Concrete can be produced faster and more easily using a newly-designed mixer that is compact and light enough to carry to the location of the pour. The Steele Mixer, a patented device made in the USA, is manually-powered, weighs just 34 lbs., and can mix a 60-lb bag of concrete ready-to-pour in less than 45 seconds.
“The Steele Mixer uses gravity to do most of the heavy work,” explains inventor Stephen Steele. “The unique internal shape mixes more consistently and thoroughly than shovel-mixing in a wheelbarrow or a bucket, which translates into better concrete. It’s manually powered, but it’s easy.”
